Red Acre cabbage microgreens are the young, vibrant seedlings of the Red Acre cabbage, characterized by their striking purple-red hue. They offer a mild, sweet cabbage flavor with a slightly peppery undertone, similar to mature red cabbage but more delicate. These colorful microgreens add a visually appealing and nutritious boost to salads, sandwiches, and other dishes, providing a gentle cruciferous flavor and a dose of antioxidants.

Microgreens tend to have a higher density of vitamins and antioxidants compared to their mature counterparts. This means you get a more potent dose of certain nutrients in smaller serving.

To maximize it's benefits, consume raw or lightly cook. For example, add them to your dish at the end of the cooking process or preferably as a garnish. Our greens are made-to-order, meaning we grow your microgreens just for you. So a short lead time is necessary before they can be delivered. The upside? You'll get the freshest microgreens with a longer shelf life compared to grocery store bought greens, if properly stored. We recommend to keeping them in an airtight container lined with a paper towel. This helps absorbs moisture, which helps prevent wilting of your microgreens. 

We sow our seeds every Tuesday, allowing us to collect orders for the week and sow them all at once. Harvest takes place 11 days later.
